with all this old footage seeing the light this week,it feels like and old schhool invasion!but at the same time it's so good that you forget about old school and new school and realise the timeless value of flatland.btw trevor is a beast for sure!
couldn't agree more, good flatland is good flatland regardless of what era, am I the only one who misses the double decade, triple decades out of combos? I mean can you imagine the modern day riding and end the combo with a triple rather than a front scuff out or whatever...
i guess you somehow see it in modern flatland, like in Hiro and Mike S endings with a back peg rollaid or turnbucket..i think nowdays riders emphasize more in a big trick or switch in the middle of the combo so it's hard enough and you rather finish it more simply than make something difficult and destroy it!but i agree with you E because the ending is the last impression, and a triple is sure a good one!
Oh yeah totally George, i remember the 94 era well and amount of time I would get to the end of a combo and fuck up on a double, and do one decade instead haha was unreal, but every so often when I hit triples, that was one of the best feelings I ever had, or even stomped doubles, just for a moment you had that feeling like you were Chase or something.
