Old school sundays Part 2
Another great contribution by Roosevelt Taylor, great footage from the archives, the likes of Craig Lepage, Mark Teo, Mike Sneed, shredding it up, the quality of the footage, gives us a feel of what videos used to be like...

Sick ,whose the guy at 3:13 black vest ?? roparoni to decade thaat was sweet,Rick Upjohn,Ross Smith ( i think ) Craig Lepage looks like, these guys were on fire great era.
OMG Craig Lepage dude's a monster, mad skills Roparoni to bar hop etc amongst other backwards madness ,guy at 3:27 black vest pedal locomotive way ahead of its time guy is up there for the time i'd say he's at the top think its Chris Poulos not sure though, this era is what i call the changing of the guard bike companies dropping riders, sales were down the industry was changing more jams,2 Hip comps were happining ,shorts and t shirts no uniforms,Hammer pads,Vision Street Wear etc everywhere etc both these vids showcase such talent i mean any of these guys could enter the pro class in 1989 and win ,yet a year earlier it was Mccoy and Moliterno amazing how we see such incredible progressionin a short time even today some of those combo's would place in a comp i guarentee it regardless of whats original etc.Ross Smith as well WOW.
People knock scuffing today but here you see rolling and scuffing combined when it was fresh and new to such a difficult degree maybe they should educate themselves and watch these vids because i've just watched them both fully and i was blown away ,its a case of where do i start ,the East Coast in particular had a great scene and vids like Live Wire etc in 1991 makes me wonder if these guys do still ride what they are doing now.
Really enjoyed these old school Sunday vids totally made me think back to what was going down then ,and without old school there would be no new school ,watch and learn people watch and learn. :-)
Scott Santamaria is the rider in vest. He did the pedal locomotive, first real pedal scuffing trick that got done.
