That was killer great to see. I have been in contact with Scotty since the interview with him went up on bmxfreestyler I am going to send him a link over here. I also added this video to his interview. Totally Awesome!! He even mentions this contest in his interview!!

Great stuff from the archives i remember Freestylin Magazine coverage of this comp , for anyone over 35 this is how it was in 84 lots of balance and power moves and mag wheels oh yes ,gotta love the Boomerang that was the trick for me .

That's before anything was "retro"..those were the coolest moves and the freshest music out! Wow.

Moves around the flail boomerang are larger untouched huh, you have multiple hanggliders from guys like milder and chad j. Jason brown did one to hitch and xft hitch, Larry bull did them backwards, what else?
